An attractively priced alternative to forged SCAT crankshafts. Used type 1 crankshafts are tested for cracks using the magnaflux procedure. Afterwards, counterweights are welded on and the whole crankshaft is media blasted. The honing of main and rod bearing, 8 dowel preparation and fine-balancing finishes the production process of this crankshaft.
